The staple of Japanese streets, vending machines are present almost everywhere you go. They are accessible and open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Japan is all about convenience and ease of use so no wonder I even came across them on trails while hiking mountains! In Kyoto, there was a row of vending machines with a good selection of drinks on the side street by my apartment building. Every morning as I was heading out I stopped here to grab a can of hot black coffee.

They are so handy, wish they were more popular everywhere in the world.
We loved the coffee vending machines in Japan.
They are pretty awesome. And so convenient with such good varieties.
