It was a home away from home while visiting Yakushima Island. This house was very hidden from the road, so much so that it took us a while to find it. The guesthouse is run by an older retired couple, who were so very nice to us. We got a great breakfast every morning before heading out for a day of adventure around the island. I was very fond of this place and the traditional tatami mat bedroom.
