Netflix is now streaming all 74 episodes of the anime adaptation of Naoki Urasawa’s Monster manga. It is available in Japanese and with a French dub, but not with an English dub. The series follows a Japanese neurosurgeon who is drawn into darkness while trying to solve a series of murders involving a patient whose life he once saved.

The anime aired from 2004-2005 and the manga ran in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Original magazine from 1994 to 2001. Two more novels titled Another Monster were written and illustrated by Urasawa to show the story from the perspective of an investigative journalist.

I watched a couple of episodes recently, and I am going to continue with it for now. It looks very interesting.
