The Netflix documentary Tour de France: Unchained (or possibly Au cœur du peloton) is an eight-part series that will be aired in June 2023 in 190 territories around the world.

It follows eight teams through the 2022 Tour de France, focusing on the suffering and celebration of professional cycling, combining television and on-bike footage with moments captured by roadside fans and behind-the-scenes interviews. The trailer shows moments of each episode, focusing on riders such as Tom Pidcock, Bob Jungels, Thibaut Pinot, and Jonas Vingegaard.

The series is made by Quadbox, a joint venture between Quad Productions and Box to Box Films, and has reportedly had an €8 million production cost with €1 million being divided between the different parties involved. It has been praised for its potential to boost interest in cycling, as well as ASO’s media rights contracts.
