Netflix is producing an anime adaptation of the already manga-inspired comic book Scott Pilgrim vs the World, with the original cast from the 2010 movie returning to voice their characters. Edgar Wright is directing and Bryan Lee O’Malley is serving as showrunner, writer and executive producer, along with BenDavid Grabinski.

The anime is being produced by Anime house Science SARU, with Abel Góngora directing, and Anamanaguchi providing original songs and a score alongside Joseph Trapanese. There is no release date yet, but the series will be coming to Netflix in the future.
