SPY x FAMILY Won the Grand Prize of the 52nd Japan Cartoonists Association Awards

SPY x FAMILY, a manga by Tatsuya Endo, won the Grand Prize of the 52nd Japan Cartoonists Association Awards in the Comics division. The award includes a gold-plated shield, medal, certificate and prize money of 500,000 yen.

The award was judged by a panel of manga and industry experts and was found to have a fun story as well as a message of peace and tranquility for readers. The anime adaptation of the manga follows a secret agent posing as a family man on a mission to infiltrate an elite school and get close to a high-profile politician, with his wife being a deadly assassin and his adopted daughter being a telepath.
