Amazon has released four new features for the Kindle Scribe, their 10.2-inch e-reader and writing device.
These features are focused on improving the note-taking experience, including a “Bird’s Eye View” button, a PDF contrast slider, compatibility with Microsoft Word documents via the “Send to Kindle” button, and the ability to display content in two columns when in landscape orientation. Although these changes are helpful, they still don’t address the main criticisms raised in the review, such as the inability to sync notes to other devices or convert handwriting to text.
However, these updates are a step in the right direction and Amazon may continue to improve the device in future software updates.
